THE JAZZ CAFE REVEALS A NEW SEASON OF GROUNDBREAKING TALENT

Spanning Rap, RnB, Soul, Jazz and more, many artists will perform for the first time at The Jazz Cafe and some for the first time in the UK!


The Jazz Cafe continues to cement the position as a crucial piece of the live music landscape with the next season of live events. While The Jazz Cafe is a mecca in London to see world-famous icons on one of the most intimate, grassroots stages the UK has to offer, it’s also proud to be at the forefront of breaking emerging talent. The forthcoming season presents a packed out, all killer, diverse schedule, many of whom perform not only for the first time at The Jazz Cafe, but also in the UK.


International debuts from Armani Caesar, Durand Bernarr, Jonah Yano, Thelma Plum, KEM & more. Takeover events across large scale London venues include Pete Rock & The Soul Brothers at Electric Brixton amongst many others exciting performances at KOKO and EartH Theatre.


The game changing international artists making their UK debuts this season starts with Armani Caesar, one of the most talented rappers in America and “first lady” of the Griselda roster performing her only UK show on 3rd October. The sensational Durand Bernarr for two debut UK dates in November, his vocal prowess and stage presence has cemented his status as a true musical icon after earning his stripes working alongside Grammy Award-winning artists Erykah Badu, Anderson.Paak, and Kaytranada. November also sees BADBADNOTGOOD collaborator Jonah Yano’s UK debut. Other international Jazz Cafe debuts come from Aboriginal Australian singer Thelma Plum, a rare opportunity to see the fast-rising artist in an intimate live setting in September, and five-strong Swiss collective Sirens Of Lesbos will share their socio-politically minded, cosmically-beautiful music 21st October.



Inaugural Jazz Cafe performances from exceptional homegrown talent sees buzzy, UK jazzers, Corto.alto and Croydon’s Jords, whose hybrid of smooth hip-hop, R&B, and poetry has made him one of the most refreshing UK talents of late will perform 17th October. In November, one of the most captivating performers on today’s soul scene, Maryland-born, Liverpool-based Jalen Ngonda will take to the stage. The returning hero artists. Multi-platinum RnB idol KEM returns for his first UK shows in over 10 years via three consecutive dates in September.
